I don't know about all of you but I am seeing lots of back to school sales and "excitement".
I will admit to catching a little of the fever, but mainly because I didn't want all the good stuff at Target Bullseye area to get gone before I got some. I did a very small (patting myself on the back here) haul at Target. I am trying to be a more conscientious shopper this year. I made a list before school got out for the summer, I checked it multiple times in store, and for the most part I stuck to it!!! I also hit up the Dollar Tree. How is it I can never leave that store without spending a minimum of $30? My husband is as curious as I am about that. :)
Last year was a strange year to say the least. I live in GA where Covid did not keep my county from being face to face from day one. Yes, we had some closure to quarantine, but for the
most part we were open day in and day out. I caught Covid, a mild cause thank goodness. I was doing my best because I have a mother who has serious health issues that I often see and help take to important medical procedures. It wasn't an easy year for me or for anyone. I am glad to see the end of that year to be honest.
I got the vaccine. I am starting to feel ready to go back but I do still want to enjoy my next three weeks. I have to admit to being terrible at updating. I am hoping to do better this year. In the meantime, enjoy what is left of your summer. Take care!
